Email on Mobile Devices

This article details adding and removing Texas A&M emails on iPhones and the Outlook Mobile app.

Removing an account from Mail for iPhone

This section details on how to remove an account from the iPhone default mail application.

  1. Go to the Settings application and tap on the Mail section.



  2. Tap on Accounts.



  3. Tap on your Texas A&M account (this also may be labeled as “Exchange”).



  4. Click on “Delete Account” and confirm by clicking on “Delete from My iPhone” to remove this account from your iPhone.

 

This will remove the account from your iPhone.


Adding an Account on Mail for iPhone

This section details on how to add an account on the iPhone default mail application.

  1. Go to the Settings application, and tap on the “Mail” section (As seen below)



  2. Tap on “Accounts”



  3. Tap on “Add Account”



  4. Tap on “Microsoft Exchange”



  5. Enter (Your NetID)@tamu.edu under the email section, and then click “Next”



  6. Click on “Save”

     

This will add your @tamu.edu email to your iPhone’s default Mail application.


Adding an Account on Outlook Mobile (iPhone or Android)

This section details on how to remove an account on the Outlook Mobile application.

  1. Download the Microsoft Outlook application (available on both iPhone and Android)



  2. Enter (Your NetID)@tamu.edu under the email section, and then click “Add Account”



  3. Sign in with your NetID and password, and the Account will be added.

This will add your @tamu.edu account to Outlook Mobile.
