Connecting to the NVivo Collaboration Server

If you have not submitted a ticket to OIT to have the NVivo Client installed and access provisioned please do so now

  1. Open the NVivo Client

  2. In the left hand panel click on Application Options

  3. In the new windows that pops up click on the Connections tab

    1. Click the Add button to add a new connection to the NVivo Server

    2. Fill in the Connection details as follows

      1. Name: nvivo

      2. Host: nvivo.arch.tamu.edu

      3. Connect As: Current Windows User

Assuming you are logging in with your NetID on a School owned computer choosing Current Windows User will work. If you are connecting from a different account then you will need to specify your Account as NetID and NetID password.
